Usually talk of resetting your routine and implementing healthy habits is reserved for New Year’s resolutions. It’s all well and good at 11:55pm when you’re hopped up on champagne and adrenaline, but when you wake up the next day with brain fog, six inches of snow outside, and pancake mix in the kitchen cabinet… well… you do the math.

For me, the transition into spring is what usually puts these resolutions into motion. Something about the sunshine and the longer days leaves me feeling energized and excited at the prospect of rebirth and renewal. Refreshing and resetting.

If you’re feeling the same way, but unsure of where to start -
look no further.

Our flexible program starts in May and will be completely virtual (so you can do it from anywhere!). Each weekend we will provide you with prerecorded yoga, workouts, and meditations for you to access at your convenience throughout the week. Each Sunday, we will meet as a group via Zoom to discuss challenges that came up during the previous week and how we can shift those challenges into successes for the week ahead.

Resetting your routine and developing healthy habits can be hard and arduous, but it can also be collaborative and FUN.

A Four Week Container for Building Healthy Habits and Mindsets

When: May 2 - May 30
Where: All content is pre-recorded, weekly check-ins will be on Zoom.

Join Katie and Elissa to refresh and reset your routine! Over the course of four weeks we will come together to share the process of rebuilding healthy habits, mindsets and routines with a community of like-minded people. If you have struggled this winter to feel any sense of
normalcy and connectedness, this is the program for you!

The entire program is virtual. We will have weekly group check-ins each Sunday in May via Zoom. The rest of the program is pre-recorded and can be accessed at your convenience during the week. The introductory group meeting will be on May 2.

Katie and Elissa are educated in different avenues of the fitness and wellness industry. They are merging their knowledge of yoga, mindfulness, mental health, resistance training and functional movement to create this four week container for building healthy bodies, habits and mindsets.

Restorative Yoga Series

When: Sundays, March 7 - April 25
Where: Live on Zoom through Upper Valley Yoga!
What: 8 Weeks of Restorative Yoga - all levels welcome.
Adults: $18/class
Students & Seniors: $15/class

For many of us, a full year of pandemic life has left our sympathetic nervous systems in overdrive—a baseline state of “fight or flight”. Join me every Sunday in March to explore the use of restorative yoga as a means to tap into the parasympathetic nervous system which allows us to “rest and digest”. Restorative yoga is a slow-paced practice in which we hold grounded postures for several minutes with the support of lots of props. These long, supported holds help us to soften and release tension stored deep within the body and the mind, slow our heart rate to conserve energy, and revitalize ourselves mentally, physically and emotionally. You will leave class feeling refreshed, restored and ready for the week ahead.

These classes will be pre-recorded and you can access the link anytime on Sunday between 6 am and midnight if you register ahead of time (like right now?!). This class will run every Sunday in March and April. Sign up is available through Upper Valley Yoga.
