Happy Friday, everyone!
This time of year always feels a like a weird mix of peace and chaos to me. The holiday season tends to shift my routine, there are more people wanting to socialize, there are gifts to buy and gatherings to go to etc. But simultaneously, I find little pockets of time in the evening after the early sunset where I experience tranquility and presence whether I’m finding time to try a new recipe, get on my yoga mat, or read a book.
There is always work to be done. Whether it’s the work of making the world a better place, the work of making yourself a better person, or just the work that we all have to engage with in order to live with relative comfort and pay the bills.
What I’ve learned from the past couple of years is the importance of fighting the pressure to constantly be productive or to constantly be working and instead to focus on self-reflection, identifying the things that bring you peace, perspective, and joy, and then finding moments and windows of time to do those things.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my early December musings :)
In the meantime, I want to offer you some movement ideas for this weekend:

Much love to you all. Have a beautiful weekend.
As always, never hesitate to reach out.
